My name is Farshad Ghafourpour, or Fash for short. You can read my potted bio below and see how I came to become something of a success in the world of motor and asset finance.

My “secret”, if you want to call it that, is that you get the best attention and service you will receive from any finance broker. I love what I do. I love working with people to help achieve their goals, and I get immense satisfaction from giving superb service. That’s just the way I was made.

It helps that our overheads are really low so that we can offer what must be the most competitive rates in the market. It also helps that we have links with a very large network of specialist lenders, built up over a career in motor finance spanning almost 25 years.

Leaving University with a Masters in International Purchasing and Supply, I entered the fashion industry as a buyer. That world did not fire my passion for cars and finance so I moved into the car finance industry in 1997.

Soon I was a leading finance manager within the Pendragon Group, the UK’s 2nd largest motor retailer. My success there attracted attention and I was headhunted by Sytner, nationwide BMW dealerships, where once again I achieved very high levels of business and customer service. 

After two years of service with BMW I decided to move on and set up my own business which went from strength to strength. Our small team looked after a number of dealerships as off-site business managers. Working on my strengths from my time at BMW, I made sure all clients were looked after to a high standard.  

Sadly, the 2008 financial crises hit us hard and we had to close the business but, like a true fighter, I picked myself up and started Lang Finance at the beginning of 2009.

Now we offer a personalised individual service to our clients, looking after their purchasing needs – not only cars but any kind of asset finance such as, Plant, Machinery, Medical, IT, Aviation and Marine to mention just a few of the sectors we support. 

That means we tailor deals to suit clients’ needs and not pigeonhole them into a finance package that isn’t suitable for their circumstances or objectives.

I pride myself on a very close relationship with all my clients and give them full attention to deliver a very high quality of service and customer care. Success for me means a very satisfied and happy client, especially those with challenging requirements. It greatly pleases me that many become long-term friends.

My motto is, “No one deal will change my life”. I aim to look after my clients as if I was spending my own money and I think that is a very rare attribute in today’s world.
